Once on weekend I was went this place. It's not too Busy. Most of the visitors are kids and there parents. In here have two types of tickets. Second one is good(complete package). Lots of fish variation is there. Birds variety also there but not like fish. In this place have First underwater tunnel in south asia. Length is around 10m - 15m. Some times they are doing some shows in that tunnel tank. Overoll experience is good. Onece of the recommended place to bring your kids. This pace have parking areas and inside few canteens also. You can buy snacks and refreshments.

One of the best places to spend a day. There's so much to do and see, making it a perfect outing for families and individuals alike. One of the highlights is the underwater tunnel, which is the first of its kind in South Asia. Walking through the tunnel with sharks swimming around you is an incredible experience that you shouldn't miss. The variety of rare fish is astonishing; we saw species we've never even heard of before. The bird park is another fantastic attraction. You can feed the birds, which adds a fun and interactive element to the visit. Just a heads-up, if you go on a weekday, you might have to wait until 2:30 p.m. to feed them, but it's worth the wait. The river safari was a unique experience, too. It's not just a boat tour; it's an educational journey where you can learn a bit about local and foreign history thanks to the informative guide. There's also a children's park and a gun range. The kids can have fun, and the gun range was a fun activity for the adults. I highly recommend getting the full package ticket and visiting on a weekday to fully enjoy everything without the crowds. It's better than going to the Dehiwala Zoo, and this is still under construction, so hope we can see more new things soon. So far, it has been a good and enjoyable experience for everyone.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the River Safari and the Underwater Tunnel. The River Safari provided a unique and immersive experience, allowing us to observe aquatic creatures in their natural-like habitats. The Underwater Tunnel was equally mesmerizing, offering a 180-degree view of marine life swimming gracefully around us. These attractions are particularly engaging for children, who can learn about marine biodiversity in a fun and interactive way. While the overall experience at Water World Kelaniya was positive, there are areas that could benefit from improvement. The housekeeping and cleanliness, especially in the restrooms, need significant attention. Clean and well-maintained facilities are crucial for ensuring a comfortable visit, and addressing these issues would greatly enhance the visitor experience. Additionally, the presence of a good food court or canteen with a hygienic atmosphere would be a welcome addition. Offering a variety of healthy and tasty food options in a clean environment would provide visitors with a convenient place to relax and refresh during their visit. In summary, Water World Kelaniya is a fantastic place to visit, especially with kids, thanks to its impressive exhibits and engaging attractions like the River Safari and Underwater Tunnel. By improving housekeeping and adding a quality food court, the facility could offer an even better experience for all its visitors.
